There is a suprising amount of death in this.

Was pretty amazing but one question. She never saw her mother other than in the tank so how did she know what she looked like to add her to the picture? The siblings i can understand she would make up how she thought they might look if not mutants. But to get her mother exactly correct, naw.
That was heart breaking ending. Reminds me of how i felt at the end of Samurai Jack final season. Very bitter sweet.
I actually like Killjoys more than Dark Matter. But they’re both fantastic.
I was really irked by the cancellation of Raised by Wolves. I loved it.
It was the stupidest decision HBO could have made. There could have been at least one or two more seasons. Talk about no closure!
Totally agree, I loved Both killjoys and Dark Matters. Dark Matters ended in a weird way that felt like there was another season coming. Did not know that Raised by Wolves was canceled and that is very sad indeed. It was a great show that had so much going for it. RBW was visually stunning and at moments so out of the ordinary.
As an avid fan of the books that this series is based on, I didn’t feel the need to watch the show. I didn’t think it could possibly have anything else to add. But I was dead wrong! Seeing the world(s) and characters of this story brought to life is another thing entirely. I highly recommend that if you are a fan of sci fi, and don’t mind a complex cast of characters and story arcs, to give this show a shot.
It is just sad the way it ended instead of being multi generational like the books.
The thing that came to my mind was the clarence and phillip song from southpark the movie.
As much as i am enjoying this show so far. I am finding it very predictable.
Wow, that is incredible! A Cerial convention. I wonder how many of these actually take place. Conventions that are double entendre for nefarious people.
well so far they ticked the LGBT check box, but are lacking in the racial diversity check boxes. Where are all my Asian, Hispanic, Arabic, Israeli, Pacific Islander, American Indian, Indian and Aboriginal brother and sisters.
I’m impressed they managed to make every single relationship lesbian or gay! However, I am quite disappointed in the lack of trans representation. Netflix should have done better. 2/5.
well there was the ceo and the potential hire that seemed straight. But so far you are correct no trans’s and I dont see a problem with that at all. They have already over compensated with the sjw wokeness of the series so far.
Would have been great if the kid had responded. Hi gay nice to meet you.
I like this show but really wish it had stayed more to the graphic novels as far as characters. I can never get enough of Jenna Coleman. Loved her in Dr Who! But she is not the Constantine that should be in here or at the very least have her wear a blonde wig or dye her hair blonde. They lifted the whole Astra back story from the Constantine cartoon. Kinda ruins her character for me.
I know a bunch of people who watched Swampthing as did I. Loved it & was hoping for a 2nd season but it was unfortunately canceled not long after the 1st epi was released I heard.
yup, the reason was to expensive to produce and DC streaming was floundering at the time.
This was good. Big win for DC to finally have a A class tv show . Whoever produced and wrote for this show should do the same with other DC shows .
Swampthing was a great show. To bad nobody watched it or it would have been a hit. More so then this show imo.
If you like this, you should check out this as well! it is really really good. https://www.primewire.tf/movie/1342128-dc-showcase-death-short-2019
I hated that ending! Because it is the end and that makes me feel sad. This cast had a chemistry that most shows today only dream of having. Everyone on this show meshed!
Ted Danson is phenomenal in this. Most of my laughs are due to his role in this show, not to say everyone else is not funny, (because they are) but Ted Danson really knocksd it out of the park.
Is this really worth watching?
YES, shehulk in this is the bad guy. Unlike the Hulk she is perfectly aware that she can kill people with ease and if not for professor hulk she would have. Shehulk is 100% aware of her power and is in 100% control of that power refuses to do the right thing over and over. This show is a referendum of how absolutely insane and self-absorbed feminist are. It is also great as long as you never ready or collected any of the 1980’s The Savage She-Hulk comics (Which i have all of). Because this ain’t her!
I really like this show but this episode feels like they phoned it in for the first 20 minutes of the show.
Exciting episode! loved it. But I really hate that the ships all fly in space as if they are in atmosphere. The only shows I can recall that got space flight and combat correct are The Expanse and Babylon 5.
Well that was a unique and interesting episode, and fun to watch. But, I am glad it won`t be a regular thing, especially Isac gushing words of love. Cute, but over the top.
Ok well that was completely stupid. Harold locked her up in a workshop that has damn near every freaking tool know to mankind and she cant open the door?
Well that sucked! I love Natalie Martinez and feel she was wasted on this show. She was great in Eurika and as the red lady in the 100. To the naysayers about the plan to send spies. It actually makes sense when you consider the people sending the spies are still not sure if they are facing a supernatural being or not. Also Flag aka the Devil is not omnipotent like god. Sure a being of immense power but he still did not know about Tom.
Holymoly! Did not see that coming. M’knight Shamalan would be proud of that ending! To me this whole series was a mix of First Blood, John wick and Reacher.
After all that just happened you are going to sit with your back to a window?
Is it just me or does it bother anyone else that the ships in space are flying like they are in atmosphere. Also could not help but think there is a stormtrooper firing weapons. Was still a very exiting episode and I really enjoyed it. Also did anyone else notice how Pikes hair keeps changing color in this episode? That said, this was the only Star Trek I am hoping to see more of. IMO CBS can ditch all the other “Star Trek” shows and focus those resources on this one.
Ok I liked this episode but there are quite a few flaws and one pet peeve I have with it.
To many characters on this away mission that we already know the future of. We know Chappel, Uhura, Spock, Kirk and Pike can not die here. That only left 4 that can bite it. They should have had less main characters and more fodder to add to the suspense about who’s gonna bite it next. The wishy washy Uhura stay or go is completely unnecessary and has been give too much time that could have been spent with her showing off her skills much more. My pet peeve is the Gorn itself. I live in Thailand and those Gorn looked like a common Thai house gecko (though larger and slimier). I wished they had made it look more like the Star Trek Online Gorn. Now those are menacing even as babies, they looks like buffed out armored little action figures with teeth and claws.
Never did I think as a kid watching Star Trek (back in the late 60’s), that someday there would be so many different story lines. Yes, I was lucky to be a grade school kid in the 1960’s and watched every new episode (the new tv season started in September)each week until the end of the season (which was May). Then I got to watch it again in the summer months as a re-run. I never got tired of seeing ST and with so many new spin-offs now, I won’t get tired anytime soon of seeing one Star Trek episode after another! Live long and prosper.
As a child I was allowed to choose only three shows to watch on TV and only three. Before being told to go do something outside. Those three shows where The Benny Hill Show, Lost in space and Star Trek. I like this show a lot and it reminds me of the feelings I had watching TOS. Those other “Star Trek” shows do not and do nothing for me what so ever.
Least favorite episode so far but still liked it. There where a few to many on the nose tropes imo.
I was thinking it’d be super cool if someday they gave us a Trek series based around the perspective of one of the series’ other races. A series based around Vulcans or Klingons (my personal choice). Like one that brings back Michael Dorn as Worf in his later years on the Klingon home world. They can call it, “Star Trek: House of Mogh” or somethin’…lol
My personal choice along these lines would be the federation romulan wars from the romulan perspective. Or the eugenics wars from Khans perspective.
Yeah this show is about a lot of egotistical or otherwise broken people caught way up in their own crap. Short of an overlap in end goals, nobody really cares about anyone else. That really came to a head this season.
You put that into words way better then I could. I totally agree with you. Not to get to political but I wonder if all those actors singing imagine knew they where being stereo typed and mocked?
Stands to reason. For one, Compound V would probably be like doing steroids and have a profound psychological effect. For another, Hughie was a weenie and picked on, now he can slap supes around. The bullied turn into bullies real fast. Saw it in high school a lot.
I feel that Annie cant get over herself enough to see how much pain Hughie is really in. She also can not appreciate the sacrifice he is making to his body just so he can make good on his promise to her.
What a magnificent saga this series is telling. I don’t want it to end.
Totally agree, These characters have come such a long way. I also love how the opening theme has changed to fit the locations and time periods the main characters find themselves in.
The 2nd season of Raised By Wolves is the gift that just keeps on giving. The interplay and tension between the organic/technological and religion/atheism is so well done and it makes the show one of the best sci-fi series of recent times.
Totally agree and all the curve balls the show keeps tossing out like, a android giving birth to a vegan giant flying snake. A woman singing that opens a octagonal box just to absorb something that turns her into a tree. I mean wow! This type of originality is do darn rare in today’s shows.
Each new cover is making me less interested in this show. When it just said moon knight it was infinity more interesting to me.
Consider this. Pichard being a synth now could quit possibly still be laying in bed at his château with his brain hacked. Kind of like Ghost in the shell Stand alone complex ala the laughing man.
Sorry, wasn’t trying to make a semantic point or be rude, feel free to ignore my explanation but: The Romulan treaty is presumably null at this point because of the “unification” in the 3,000’s. I think it may have already been kind of a suggestion by the time of Picard though because in Deep Space 9 the Romulans loan the Defiance a cloaking device under the agreement that they won’t use it in the Alpha Quadrant, but the Federation not only uses it they clone it for the minefield during the Dominion War.
There was also the Pegasus from the next generation, that had a top secret federation cloaking device. Though that device was clearly against the treaty of algeron.
LOL I love how he needed to dramatically take his hood off every time he see’s something. I also could not help but think Boba Fett and this hover moped rangers as he was going to see the mayor. That chase was probably the slowest looking chase I have ever seen.
Every time I decide to watch another episode i think There is no way the writing could be worse or more corny than last episode. And yet. They continue to surprise with each addition to the wet fart that is Discovery
Totally agree. I actually turn the volume all the way down then watch the sfx to some music fast forwarding through all the weeping, simpering parts. So much more enjoyable that way.
I love the show but for two episodes they been laying the whole global warming environmentalist shtick far to thick. Was just waiting for Asta’s dad to do the old Indian tear in the eye commercial. oop’s at 27:04 can see the wire on the tent.
I was a teen when I first watched this…and I remember crying so much ! Its a gorgeous story. 10/10
If you are interested, another movie or book that will make you cry is https://www.primewire.tf/movie/159466-where-the-red-fern-grows made me ball like a little baby when I read this book and the movie teared me up pretty bad.
