During the 1930s, racing’s “golden age,” a group of wildly colorful drivers from all over Europe thrill their countryman as they race against each other. This is a time when the skills of the driver and not the car made the difference and no racer is bolder or more unpredictable than TAZIO NUVOLARI. All that Nuvolari has ever wanted is a worthy car to prove his true ability, but when he joins the racing team of ENZO FERRARI, he falls prey to the fame and adoration that his success brings him. He alienates the people who love him most, his beloved wife Carolina and their two small sons. His only comfort is in racing where he can hide from his personal problems.
