Youth is wasted on the young - if they’re lucky. Jai like any other teenage boy has ideals and hopes, but has kept them locked up along with everything else he doesn’t talk about. Being the son of a single parent smack head and the eldest of his siblings, his dreams have drifted further and further away over the years. Freedom visits briefly in the form of a day out with his ‘out of his league’ girlfriend Saskia and her friends. But their indulgence is cut short when reality checks in with a thud.
