As Halloween approached in October 2012, the State of New Jersey prepared for the holiday, but what they weren’t expecting, was a Hurricane Sandy Super Storm, that flooded communities, lost lives, and destroyed homes beyond belief. A nightmare that has left communities shattered, yet has given rise to the beginning of friendships and rebuilding, acts of kindness and helping neighbors, but the most important of all, becoming Jersey Strong together. This is a story of a father that lost everything, and a daughter who wrote a song about her experience to share with the world. |
