17 year old Mexican-American teenager, Nick and his best friend, Sammy break-in and steal from unoccupied homes. On one of their breaking and entering operations, Nick stumbles upon a murder scene. He is quickly overpowered and strung up from the ceiling. The male homeowner tells Nick that his sister is a ‘sin eater’. A cannibalistic shaman that eats the flesh of her victims to release the purified soul so it could go to heaven. What is Sammy’s connection to this cult and did he set-up his friend to be their latest victim? |
