Details:

An interview with folk singer, activist and legend, Buffy Sainte-Marie (played by Tara Beier) that aired in Toronto, Canada in 1966. Through the raw and delicate honesty of this Artist’s message in concert and conversation, the film attempts to bridge the gap between past and present, documenting the plight of Native colonization in North America up to our corporate day, Alberta Oil Sands. Later in her career, Buffy Sainte-Marie found out her music was blacklisted by the American government, yet still garnered worldwide success, serving as a hero in educating on the truth of Native North American history though her music and mass media.
