Robert is a prison pastor and relates how he wanted a bible as a child so he walked to school for many months to save up for one. John is a successful basketball player but his life falls apart when he discovers that his girlfriend is unfaithful. He stabs her by accident while trying to stab her lover. In desperation he tries to commit suicide but each time a voice stops him. He finally hands himself in. In prison he tries to kill himself again but a prisoner from Robert’s group stops him. John joins the group and accepts Jesus as his Savior. He has a problem that he can’t read. Amazingly he learns to read through the bible and ends up preaching to his inmates in prison. |
