Rekohu an Island lost in time, New Zealand’s furthest outpost, Dinosaur fossils, extinct Volcanos, and one of the South Pacific’s forgotten cultures the Moriori people. On a break on the mainland THE COMMODORE of the Chathams Islands meets THE WIZARD of New Zealand. This is a story which could only happen on Islands at the bottom of the world. We talk to elders, locals, eat with the people, discuss Rekohu, the way of life, what it is and what it is becoming. We examine the extreme history, the cannibalism, the genocide of a people, and how this effects a community of 600 marooned on an island in the remote South Pacific.
