Because it wasn’t only the footballers who made the World Cup such an unforgettable party event - and it was also the football supporters on the streets. For four weeks the film crew accompanied fans from home and abroad at a World Cup which went down in history as the biggest party for all time. The documentary which results is a highly emotional film which captures hopes, joys and delights but also misery and absolute grief.
