Told from her own perspective, E.V. Miller, an 80 year old matriarch in her last hours of life, discovers the diversity of behavior at her own convention of dying. As absurd as the four generations of Miller women can appear, their care and concern for their grandmother, mother and friend never shies from the truth in the room.
