Just One More Bite is a short film directed by Nicole Lawr (Canada). In the near future, the production and consumption of food has been prohibited due to health and environmental reasons. Nourishment is instead provided by tablets handed out to the people by the government. However, an underground food market still thrives, driven by the individuals who are bored by the tastelessness of the tablets and still seek the sensory experience of eating real food. Two such individuals find themselves in trouble after being caught with food by the Regime Wellness Enforcement. In order to stay out of trouble, one of the men plans to earn the trust of the officer and hook her on food. Yet, he soon falls in love and finds himself caught between his love of food, and his love for her.
