After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, Nate (17) isolates himself at a campsite in the woods to stick out the remainder of his time, due to his rejection of seeking proper treatment. He reflects back on 3 relationships in his life that have been affected due to his illness: His Father, his brother Dan, and Kyra. Through a Buddhist-like process and his health depleting in the process, Nate decides to come back home, still rejecting treatment but also choosing to still keep living. |
