Two sisters are walking to the subway after a day’s shopping, discussing birthdays gifts, childish sums, musical bands & hair color combinations. It becomes slowly clear that there’s something peculiar about their relationship, as well as between each other as towards their direct surroundings. Furthermore, Anna’s severe cough seems to worsen as she gets a panic attack… This small, modest production is a one take, single shot short of 12 (!) minutes and is (to my knowledge) the longest short in movie history consisting of a full story and filmed in one breathtaking take/shot in a public space … The main characters are brilliantly played by Belgium’s Rising Star Clara Cleymans & upcoming talent Lynn Van Royen. |
