The Quiet Leprechaun was inspired by the John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara classic, The Quiet Man. (Directed by that Ford fella) A stocious Sean arrives at Inisfree (Ballyglunin) train station after a weekend of imbibing in the big town. He’s got a long walk home to White Ö’ Morn and an angry wife. Enter a devious leprechaun called Finnegan with his pot of gold. A silly tale of greed, passion, (for the drink) horror, (the wife) and song, (Sean has some voice on him!) all served up with the Guinness drenched scenery of County Galway, County Mayo, Donegal and the Ards Peninsula, County Down.
