The legacy of the Arizona Wildcats is told in this rich historical drama about the lives of two men, narcotics cop Joe Parella, whose eviction of drug dealers led to the existence of Casino Del Sol, and Lute & Bobbi Olson, whose family-centered basketball program conquered the racism of a city, as Branch Rickey and Jackie Robinson did for baseball. Each man’s story is told from the perspective of judgment by a glorified Jesus Christ. Based on the 2014 Pulitzer Prize nominated novel by Cory Parella. |
