A guy gets out of jail. He is looking for signs that things are going to be different. He gets a phone number. That number is 555-1234. He takes this as a sign that things are going to be different. He later finds a for leaf clover, also taking this as a sign that things are going to be different. He later stumbles into a church where a priest is preaching a sermon about forgiveness and second chances. A girl kisses him on the cheek. He is at the apex of a self hypnotic trance. A man sells him magic beans. He goes to plant the beans in a strangers garden. A cop comes and asks him what he is doing. Guy responds truthfully and falls under the cop’s ire. The cop tells him “If you tell me one more bullshit story I’m going to haul your ass ass downtown, now where do you live. Main Character replies “I don’t have a house yet officer, I only have a phone.” Co then says “OK so what is your phone number?”
