Gunpowder and Lead is a story about a cowboy’s adventurous dream of finding a fabled lost treasure of gold. But not all is as it seems on the new frontier as fears of Indian spirits that guard the treasure and chance encounters along the trail nearly doom the cowboy and his partner. The year is 1890 and AUSTIN, an aging cowboy, sets out on one last adventure while he is still young and healthy enough to travel the wild western frontier. Austin spent most of his childhood summers on his uncle’s ranch. The elderly rancher often told Austin a story of a shipment of gold that was stolen during an Indian raid. Austin, Reid, and their other childhood friend, only known as THE GAMBLER, are playing poker in the local saloon one afternoon. Intrigued by the story, Reid convinces Austin that they should set out in search of the fabled treasure. |
