Details:

Forty years ago, in May 1981, when François Mitterrand was elected, some people allowed themselves to dream of a better life, while others promised the arrival of Soviet tanks on the Champs-Elysées. And if we remember the turn of the austerity of 83, there were also wage increases, the fifth week of paid vacations, the abolition of the death penalty, the decriminalization of homosexuality, or the advent of free radio. Rare archives and the testimony of those who were at the heart of this history put it into perspective and shed light on its lesser known aspects.
