The downtrodden alcoholic Herman needs professional help, but can’t get it. He decides he needs to go to prison so he can be looked after there. He murders a local criminal but when he then tries to confess to the police nobody believes him. Herman goes in search of a second victim. How far does he have to go to get into prison? |
