John is a man obsessed with finding a nameless city that haunts his dreams. In the center of this wonderful city is a Tower, his home. Researching the Occult, John believes he has finally created a magical gateway, which will transport him to this place of dreams. Using his girlfriend as a sacrifice, John is disappointed when the spell doesn’t work as planned, and his house is surrounded by the police. A negotiator tries to convince John to give himself up. John realizes where the spell failed: it calls for more blood! Shooting the negotiator, his blood is added to the mystical circle, and the room is engulfed in flames—John gets his wish. The city however, is not the paradise he had envisioned and John realizes too late his terrible mistake. |
