From the ravages of post-Katrina New Orleans a new generation of musicians rises. They play traditional Jazz and make a living by busking in the streets. We follow Meschiya Lake, a young woman with a big voice, around the world to promote the music she loves. Through Meschiya we meet her family - a community of musicians and swing dancers who refuse to give up on the city so many others have.
