Two young Corsican boys take a blood oath that they will always do what is necessary to keep Corsica free. One of the boys, who grows up to become the French leader Napoleon Bonaparte, breaks his promise when he annexes Corsica to France. Napoleon’s boyhood friend, Carlo Pozzo di Borgo, vows to get his revenge. |
