Set in Antarctica, this documentary follows, Duncan Chessell as he fulfills a lifelong dream to explore the most remote landscape on earth and complete the prestigious Seven Summits. Joined by 3 mates they undertake a grueling month long expedition from the frozen expanse of the Weddell Sea to the summit of Antarctica’s highest peak, Mt Vinson. Through interviews, expedition tapes, and stunning time lapse photography, the four speak with candor and at times humor about what makes them tick. And we slowly form a picture of why these four mates strap on the skis and head off into our planets last frontier. |
