Details:

Cotton is used in every part of the civilized world and the people are naturally interested in its growth and manufacture. Our film depicts the development of the staple from the planting to the making of a sheet. The picture begins with the cotton planter’s home. The cotton planter is riding to the cotton fields, where colored people are picking the cotton. After the baskets filled with cotton have been weighed, the cotton is loaded on wagons and brought to the mill. The cotton is then chopped, weeded, dried, then pressed into bales, then weighed and brought to the ships or trains to be sent to the cotton mills. The picture continues showing the exterior of the cotton mill, a very large, well lighted and ventilated building. We next see the interior of the cotton mill, showing the manufacturing of the finished product in all its details. We see the pictures of the original cotton gins and scenes as they are only found in the sunny South. This picture ought to make a hit in every section of the world.
