When TOMAX discovers that his girlfriend, EVE, cheated on him, what was a normal self-consciousness about his stomach muscles, becomes an obsession with building the perfect washboard abs. As Tomax tries to work it out with Eve and justify their continued relationship, Tomax becomes enchanted with an anorexic gym addict, KATIE and slowly descends deeper and deeper into Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). In a world filled with self-obsession, Tomax questions the lengths one will go to achieve perfection. Will he succumb? |
