Tom is a struggling actor and Jen is the star paleontology student he’s secretly admired for months. To land the leading role in the college musical, Tom interns with the campus police and is paired with the oddball Officer Bobbie. When rare fossils are discovered on campus and then stolen, the clues point to Jen as the thief. With Jen and the excavation in danger from the real thieves, Tom finds he’s can’t just pretend to be a cop, he’s got to act like one.
