Details:

It’s about the faith of a fourteen-year-old boy in the family Belgian draft horse named Chester who was used at the local logging company. Chester was retired when modern equipment became available for the logging industry. His owner, Ben Kincaid, was injured in an accident and his son, Silver, tried to earn the money the family needed by entering Chester in the County pulling contest. Chester beat the other draft horses but lost to the modern tractor. On the way home from the contest Silver and Chester found the lumber boss who crashed his truck down the side of the mountain. Trapped in the burning truck the boy and his horse climbed down the hill to rescue him. Silver attached a cable to Chester’s harness and the big Belgian righted the cab so that Silver could get the boss out before the truck exploded. Then mounting the boss on the draft horse the boy drove him uphill to safety. As a reward for their heroic effort, the boss asked Silver and Chester to report to work the next morning.
