MINUTES is a dramatic film about how the lack of communication can lead to dangerous prejudices. While waiting for the doctor he intends to sell a house to, Jacob Hoffman, a hot shot, cocky real estate salesman, observes a gay man with AIDS. He passes judgment on him, regarding him as simply a “thoughtless man” who should have been smarter about his life. It is only when Jacob discovers his own need to be tested for AIDS, that he understands how thoughtless his own life has been. |
