A young boy falls ill while visiting his grandmother at her rather odd house on the Bournville estate in Birmingham, England. During a feverish dream he imagines himself playing football in the Close with his grandfather and two of his army pals. But is it a dream? Or is there, as his grandmother suspects, more to it than that. |
