An abstract journey into the sonic landscape of Britain. This short film by Nicola Reade and Angus McIntyre is the culmination of their combined interests in sound and psychogeography, and is the first in a series of films defined as ‘Sonic Cinema’. Psychosonica is the result of a series of ‘sonic pilgrimages’ across Britain. Using recording/amplification processes and rituals the sonic duo tune in and channel into the landscape to create a bizarre sound/memory feedback loop of the land itself. |
