‘Reparations … Who Should Pay?’ examines the history of slavery and racial discrimination in the United States. It boldly acknowledges that the U.S. could have had many black presidents before Barack Obama, had a segment of society not fought so hard to keep it from happening. The film shows that the true battle over ending slavery was not between black and white - but right and wrong. White men fought the opposition, and in some cases gave their lives, to abolish slavery and implement emancipation, equal rights and voting rights to all those living as slaves. Several black leaders state their positions on the reparations issue and answer the question: “Who should pay?’
