A trip through the subconscious of television, we follow ‘The Good Doctor’ during his attempt to produce a cable access TV pilot to showcase his breakthroughs in medical science. With the help of his companion, ‘The Nurse’ he hopes to subvert the unseen masses with his surgical demonstrations on live patients with long-winded speeches. The liberal use of prescribed and experimental drugs by the duo begin to shed light on the fact that perhaps not all is right in the doctor’s office. From there the film unfurls, tearing at the seams with breaks in the broadcast cable program, and begins to take us on its own journey through the process of the Good Doctor’s failure and dissension into the outer limits. |
