The film follows the crazy journey of songwriter James Ryan as he attempts to songwrite his way out of hard economic times with just an old guitar and a notepad full of original songs. Disillusioned by a breakdown in communication with his band, James retreats to his father’s aging sailing yacht on the Andalucian coast, to write and record his music and the entire soundtrack for this film. This is no ordinary music documentary - an art film that mixes rough video diary footage with classic cityscapes and striking compositions in high definition.
