Emery and Adam, two pharmaceutical researchers, explore a remote and dangerous jungle in search of a fabled glowing plant. Adam decides to take a break, but urges Emery to continue without him . Seperated from Adam, Emery is chased through the jungle by a tribe and is confronted by a their mysterious shaman. The shaman notices that Emery has a notepad with a drawing of the plant, and motions Emery to follow him. Left with no choice, Emery follows. As night approaches, Emery is pulled behind a tree by Adam, who convinces him to sneak away. They find the plant in the middle of a clearing, but greed overtakes Adam and he stabs Emery, killing him. The shaman emerges from the shadows and knocks out Adam. He performs a strange ritual with the plant, bringing Emery back to life. The shaman beckons him to join the tribe. Emery looks around, dazed. The shaman and tribe begin to leave. Emery looks closely at the torn shirt of a tribesmen and realizes it’s the same company shirt he is wearing. He drops his backpack to the ground, and disappears into the night to join the tribe.
