Gretchen and Leonard “Gretch & Leo” are a small time song, dance and acting duo (formerly a bickering off-stage couple) who are giving it one last desperate go at success. They agree to take their show on the road to earn the money and notoriety that would allow them the ability to part ways with each other and finally go solo. Their own selfish motives and antics land them on the brink of eliminating each other out of their last hope at making it in to Hollywood’s hot ticket of motion picture musicals. Adding to the growing tension between them, they both get introduced to some ill-timed characters along the way with situations that threaten to derail their starry-eyed plans at every stop. Tons of fun and unforgettable performances are in the cards for everyone in this Golden Age era-style musical. |
