Right after the sensational live performance for world peace at the galactic Inter-star Amphitheatre in Barbie and the Rockers: Out of This World (1987), the successful band returns home to mother Earth. However, when their space shuttle goes through a mysterious time warp, the spaceship lands on a strange airfield in the year 1959. Indeed, this is a great opportunity for an authentic Rock n’ Roll performance at Cape Canaveral, where Barbie meets the brilliant astrophysicist, Dr Merrishaw, and his young daughter, Kim. Can the kind scientist help Barbie and her group return to their present?
