The Big World tries to show the protagonists and their world in a way that is characteristic in Czechoslovakian films about warmth and sympathy. The Big World is a modern drama that plays out in a world of cheap night clubs and discos where everyone is out hunting for their piece of happiness, but no one manages to reach their goal. At the end, morning comes and everyone goes home to cure their hangovers until next Friday when they can go out and do it all over again. |
