Penguin chronicles the story of Kasey, a young woman forced to deal with the pain of the not-too-past. Her boyfriend Yusuf dead and her world falling apart, she turns to her friends for the solace she so desperately seeks but so hopelessly avoids her. With her grief a persistently dark shadow to her every action, she still manages to live her life in front of her in as chipper a manner as possible. However, as her life unfurls in front of her, she begins to wonder if she’ll ever be able to leave Yusuf behind. |
