‘Spring is rebellious’ is the story of a theater group in Istanbul. The members of this theater group had grown up in the shadow of the military coup. These people try to survive in this period. In the first part of the film, they work on a story called ‘spring is rebellious’ from a revolutionary writer of Turkey. This part ends with the death of the writer in a bomb attack.In the second part, they work on Kafka stories. Their lives goes into a chaos and parallel with the stories of Kafka that they are working on. The violence and the atmosphere of real life is much more chaotic and much tougher than the world of Kafka. |
