Watita is the story of a Quechua couple, Katy and Victor, who are moving from their small, rural town to a large developing city overlooking the Andes. The couple meet Watita, a young girl who helps her grandfather run an old hostel in the middle of the mountains. After the couple decide to spend the night there, Katy will discover Victor’s true reason for wanting to start a new life. Now she must weigh the importance of her various loyalties - to her husband, her tradition and her own principles - under a new light. |
