Details:

The silhouette of The Non-Smoker saunters into a pub. She immediately stumbles into four other young adults hanging out in a booth. The Non-Smoker recognizes The Smoker (who she’s briefly been seeing) sitting beside the only vacant seat. She smiles and sits down (Alas! He can’t stand her). The Smoker introduces her and she attempts to settle in smoothly. Suddenly, the table’s attention turns to the street; where an imaginative and intelligent character, The Bum, is pissing on cars, chasing streetcars, begging for change, and stumbling around the only home The Bum’s ever known. The Bum seeks only some spare change for a street car ride to find smokes and a meal; while the bourgeoisie play their political games inside the pub squandering smokes and meals away mindlessly. The Bum continues to hang around the streetcar stop, the street and even the pub in search of life’s simple pleasures. In the end, Smoke is an exciting and entertaining musical. Smoke is a classic, comedic black and white little movie with a modest, raw little twist.
