Skin Deep (2013)

A dark drama following two pivotal moments in the life of Elijah Powell (Jonathan Smith) from both his childhood and early adulthood. Although isolated in the premise, these two moments are key in unlocking the truth behind his agony that has haunted his life. Opening with his birthday in 1994, he unwraps several presents given to him from his friends and family which includes a novel, a remote control car and an empty chest.
