Get fat? Fuhgeddaboudit! When baby fever grips an Italian couple from Staten Island, they turn to Hollywood for a surrogate mother. Hoping to avoid the inevitable onset of “baby fat,” would-be mom Gina. auditions actresses for a most unexpected role. With Gina’s biological clock ticking away and pressure from her traditional Italian family adding madness to a scheme that would make a movie executive sweat, Gina must decide if she is truly ready to be a mother…and if she loves Joey enough to get fat for him.
