After Charles’ girlfriend is found in a pool of blood beside her house, Charles finds himself in the middle of the investigation in which he is the primary suspect. With the help of his friend Alex, Charles tells the lead investigator that on the night in question he was too far behind on his companies taxes to have left and therefore was unable to commit the murder. After his boss confirms his alibi and no murder weapon is found Charles is let go, leaving the clever yet incriminating truth undiscovered. |
