Alex Wynters (Damien Freeleagus) has burnt too many bridges. Once the ‘it’ boy of Australian TV, Alex has fallen from grace, and now finds himself behind the auto-dial of WinePower; a call centre for wine that gives refuge to unemployed actors. But while his arrival inspires his new workmates to follow their dreams, Alex struggles to come to grips with the fact that, to all those people who used to watch him on TV, he’s now just another telemarketer. |
