Movie: Vengeance Is My Forgiveness ( 1968 )
In a small western town, the local sheriff is looking forward to his upcoming marriage to young Lucy McLaine. The sheriff's old flame Joana, who owns a saloon, is disappointed by sheriff Durango's choice to marry Lucy but wishes him luck. Durango is in town shopping for a nice wedding dress for Lucy. Lucy's parents have sold their big cattle herd for a large sum of money in order to provide Lucy with a nice dowry. The news of the cattle sale doesn't go unnoticed in the community. As a result, four masked armed riders show up at the McLaine farm demanding the money meant to be Lucy's dowry. When Lucy's parents refuse to fork over the hidden cash, the masked robbers get rough with Lucy and they shoot the farm foreman in the arm. Fearful for Lucy's safety, her mother offers to show the bandits where the cash is hidden inside the house. Unfortunately, Lucy's father unmasks one of the robbers and recognizes him. Unwilling to leave witnesses behind, the robbers kill every member of the McLaine family and flee with the money. When Sheriff Durango arrives at the McLaine farm, he finds the massacred victims of the robbery. He also finds a pocket watch on the ground, surely belonging to one of the killers. This pocket watch is the only piece of evidence the sheriff has to help him identify and punish the killers.

Stark then forces Fidel on a hazardous journey across a desert where they meet up with the Londonderry family heading west to California. Back at the Gutierrez ranch with the unhappy Fidel, Stark discovers that Fidel is not Gutierrez' son. It seems the woman Gutierrez married was, unbeknownst to him, already pregnant with another man's son. Gutierrez is now determined to avenge his honor by killing Fidel. A shoot-out results with deadly results, especially after the Major arrives on the scene. When the dust settles, Stark heads off to California where he hopes to meet up with the Londonderry's pretty daughter. Joining him is ... Fidel!

Later, Fred Engel, the son of the murdered stagecoach passenger, seeks help to find his father's killers and retrieve the map. He contacts famous frontier scout Old Shatterhand and his Apache blood brother Winnetou. The three men set out to catch the killers. Fred Engel reveals to his two friends that his father's missing map pinpoints the location of a gold treasure at Silver Lake. They head toward the farm owned by Mr. Patterson, Engel's business partner. Patterson has the other half of the map and a daughter, Ellen, whom Fred is in-love with. Unfortunately, Colonel Brinkley's gang has the same idea of retrieving the other half of the treasure map, since the gang already has the first half of the map.

On her 21st birthday, settler Mac Haller's daughter Apanatschi receives her father's secret gold mine as a gift. Mac Haller was married to an Apache woman and Apanatschi is half-breed. She also has a little brother Happy who is saved by Winnetou from a dangerous fall off a mountain peak, when Happy tries to collect an eagle's feather from an eagle's aerie. On the day of the birthday party, Mac Haller, his daughter Apanatschi , his young son Happy and Winnetou, who is a family friend, visit the location of the secret gold mine and Apanatschi formally receives the mine from her father. At Apanatschi's b-day party at the Mac Haller farm, invited are Jeff Brown who is Apanatschi's boyfriend and two neighboring prospectors, Pinky and Sloan. At the party, the two prospectors, learn of the existence of the gold mine, from little Happy, who doesn't yet grasp the concept of gold nuggets. For him they are just rocks and pebbles. After learning of the mine, the two prospectors plan to force Mac Haller to reveal the exact location of the mine. When they are told to leave, the prospectors oblige but secretly plan to ambush Mac Haller or kidnap Apanatschi in order to extract from them the mine's location. Apanatschi is thus forced to seek Winnetou's help. Unfortunately, the prospectors themselves are in trouble when Curly-Bill's gang finds out about the whole scheme and wants a share of the loot.

A peace treaty between the United States government and the Apaches is about to be signed in Washington. However, a gang of outlaws plan to sabotage the peace process in order to prevent the signing of a treaty. This way, the gang stands to benefit from illegally grabbing Indian lands for themselves. To execute their plan, the outlaws use the Comanche tribe of Chief Big Bear to attack White settlements, stagecoaches and wagon trains and blame the attacks on the Apache. Comanche warriors kill farmers and plant evidence by leaving dead Apache at the scene. These incidents convince the local Army commander, General Taylor, that Apaches are to be blamed. Unconvinced, legendary scout Old Shatterhand meets with his friend, Apache Chief Winnetou, to investigate. Winnetou insists that his tribe wants peace and is not behind the attacks on the Whites. General Taylor meets Winnetou and Old Shatterhand to listen to their account. The general agrees to allow the two guests investigate the incidents in order to find the real culprits. In the meantime, he is called to Washington, and he leaves Captain Bradley in charge of the fort. The Captain seems to be prejudiced against the Apache and would do anything to prove that Apaches are behind the attacks against the settlers. Scout Old Shatterhand suspects that Comanches are being paid in alcohol by renegade Whites to attack the settlers and frame the Apaches for these attacks. But with a hostile Captain Bradley in charge of the fort, it will be difficult for Winnetou and his friend Old Shatterhand to find the real culprits and prove that Apaches are innocent.

Jaucarapora meets Graciela and saves her life. They fall in love each other. Gambusino tries to kill the Jaguar but perishes himself. Graciela persuades Jaucarapora that an uprising against the incomparably stronger whites will ruin his people for good. He rejects the sacred crown. The last Inca suffers death at the hands of his own mentor.
