"Phillip Marlowe" Detective Stories
Description:

Philip Marlowe (/ˈmɑːrloʊ/) is a fictional character created by Raymond Chandler (July 23, 1888 – March 26, 1959). Marlowe first appeared under that name in The Big Sleep, published in 1939. Chandler’s early short stories were published in pulp magazines. Some of those short stories were later combined and expanded into novels. These novels were then adapted to films, radio and television. After Chandler’s passing, some of these adaptations were completed by other authors, such as Robert B. Parker.
