P.S.I. Luv U is an American crime drama series that aired on CBS as a part of its 1991-92 schedule. The title derived from the phone number of fictitious Palm Security and Investigations, which was 774-5888, which can be reached by dialing "PSI-LUVU" on a standard North American telephone. P.S.I. Luv U is the story of two people who had been working together in a failed New York Police Department "sting" operation. Joey Paciorek (Greg Evigan) was a policeman, while Wanda Tallbert (Connie Sellecca) was a con woman who was working with the police only as part of an agreement which was to keep her out of prison. As the failed sting involved organized crime, when it fell through it became necessary to place both of them in the witness protection program. Posing as married couple Cody and Dani Powell, the two were placed for employment at Palm Security and Investigations in Palm Springs, California, a private detective agency owned by Matthew Durning (Earl Holliman), who was the only person outside of the government who knew who they really were. Occasionally seen during the series' run was Sonny Bono, who was at the time the real life mayor of Palm Springs.

"Pinky and the Brain" are two genetically engineered lab mice living at Acme Labs. The Brain is a genius, while Pinky is somewhat insane. The two mice initiate creative and hilarious schemes for world domination, only to have them ultimately fail. However, with great persistence, they continue working each night to "try to take over the world!" Pinky and the Brain first appeared as supporting characters on Animaniacs, then becoming popular enough to get their own series. In the Fall of 1998, this series ended and a short lived spin off, Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain, was created.

There is no voice-acting whatsoever and music and sound effects do all the talking. Pat & Mat are not CG animated and the entire series uses stop motion technique.

Upon his imminent parole after serving six years in Huntsville Prison, Bobby Ogden hopes to carve out a career as a country music singer/songwriter. With country music star Garland Dupree performing for the prisoners, the associate warden, as one of those opportunities, has Bobby perform one of his songs, Outlaw Blues, for Garland, even if it's only for the concert's sound check, hoping that Garland will help Bobby out when he's paroled. While Garland seems disinterested in Bobby's performance, he actually was listening carefully as the world eventually not only hears Garland perform Outlaw Blues on the radio, but he has copyrighted the song claiming it as his own work. Once released, Bobby has to decide what to do about Garland stealing his song, knowing largely that it's his word and that of a bunch of other convicts against that of a renowned country music star. What happens between Bobby and Garland is affected by one of Garland's backup singers, Tina Waters, who was at the sound check and who believes her ingenuity should be able to reap her some financial benefit, and by Austin Chief of Police Buzz Cavenaugh, a personal friend of Garland's, Buzz who has to deal with the situation as it is ruining his chances in his run for Austin mayor.
