Porky's going fishing, but his boat careens out of control. He finally settles in and quickly catches several fish, then falls asleep with his line in the water. While he sleeps, a fish catches a dream version of Porky and takes him home to the fish's family. Porky narrowly escapes, but has run-ins with other marine life, only to awaken and throw his catch back.

The citizens of Birdville are going about their business: weaving baskets, patronizing the bank (depositing nuts and worms), etc. In the saloon, a gangster type sings the title song, mugs a passing cop, and drinks a row of shots. He looks out and spots the bank; leading his gang across the street, he acts as lookout while the gang robs the bank. The police pursue; shootout. In the hideout, the ganster laughs at his wanted poster. A beat cop spots the getaway car and summons help; shootout, including air support. The cops shoot out the floor of the hideout birdhouse, capturing the lead, who sings, from jail, the flip side of the title song, "I'm just a jailbird now."

Uncle Beans is tasked with babysitting Ham and Ex at the fire station.

A crazed bomber is terrorizing the city. Meanwhile, a young Porky is a few cents shy of buying an ice cream soda; he starts earning it by picking up items people drop and handing them to him. But the bomber is not pleased to be on the receiving end of Porky's good deed...

Billboards come to life. Eddie Camphor and his "wioleen" player Rub-Him-Off do a song and dance to "Merrily We Roll Along" with new lyrics. A dancer on a Cuban tourism poster does a dance. Pancho's Tamales sing in Spanish; the Old Maid cleanser girls dance. Some Russian Rye bread dances to a Russian arrangement. The penguins for Old Colds cigarettes dance and skate, too. Two union suits do a dance, with their drop panel beating time on washtubs, as a set of lingerie dances and a Jell-O mold shakes. The My Ami chick goes after the worm in an apple, but catches the hose of an air pump instead and gets inflated. A cat comes after the chick. The bellhop for Philmore cigarettes calls out the support: A Police Chief gasoline car, the RCA dog (fake brand not visible), and finally the arm and hammer from a baking soda poster which clubs the cat on the head.

A Mexican Cafe after hours is the setting for a cockroach party a la Joe's Apartment (1996), where the eponymous star of the show is a hot, six-legged senorita in a red dress. An interloping parrot chashes the party, apparently determined to have the guest of honor as a snack. But the audience is not about to give up the object of their collective affection so easily, and one heroic bug manages to torch the parrot's tail and rescue the damsel in distress, which is, of course, a good excuse to continue the fiesta on into the night. Freling did partial remake of this cartoon the following year with flies and a spider standing in for the roaches and parrot in Bingo Crosbyana (1936).

On board a traveling showboat, various variety acts are performed.

Porky Pig joins the Army Air Corps. After overcoming the problems caused by his small stature and surviving the rigors of basic training, Porky gets his first assignment, as a janitor for the experimental "robot plane." When a boy standing in front of the command microphone for the robot plane starts to show off the tricks his dog can do, Porky's wild ride begins...

Uncle Beans and the kids are off to visit a haunted ship ('The Phantom') trapped in the ice, hoping to find pirate treasure. They encounter all manner of ghosts and goblins, but eventually find what they've been looking for. When Beans tries to warm up by throwing some chairs in a stove and lighting it, he thaws out a pair of pirates that chase the trio around. They treasure-seekers are eventually forced back into their plane and they decide to fly away.

A strong mouse says that he will become the heavyweight champion of the world. But his grandma (who is just as strong) doesn't want him to fight. So that night he sneaks off to the fight, which Granny hears on the radio. Granny is so concerned she goes to the arena to stop him from fighting...but fate plays a hand.

The occasion is a school musical with many acts in which each of them end with a problem. The biggest one being when Beans pulls a gag on Oliver and embarrasses him in front of the rest of the students.

A little girl falls asleep and dreams she is in Toyland, where she and a toy soldier contend with the Beast from "Beauty and the Beast."

After introducing the small town Bugtown, inhabitated by bugs, this short shows what happens to two honeymooning lovebugs at the Honeymoon Hotel in town, due to the fact, that their love is a little bit to hot.

Bugs Bunny is trying to reach a peanut festival in Georgia, but he has instead time traveled to Camelot in the year 526. He blames faulty directions from Ray Bradbury, and mentions having previously time traveled to 25th-century Mars thanks to Bradbury. Bugs at first thinks that he has landed in Pittsburgh, but is informed that he is in Camelot by Sir Elmer of Fudde, a brave knight. The knight has been hunting for a dragon, and figures that Bugs is a transformed dragon. He captures Bugs and takes him to the castle of king Arthur, where Bugs is presented to Arthur, King of England (played by Daffy Duck), and court magician Merlin of Monroe (played by Yosemite Sam). Merlin wants Bugs drawn and quartered, but Bugs uses a solar eclipse to full the locals that he can affect the sun's movements. He is released and Arthur grants him custody of an actual fire-breathing dragon. Bugs establishes his own armor-making factory, and names it Acme. In 528, his enemy Elmer challenges to a duel, and Merlin has allied with Elmer. Bugs much achieve victory to secure his position in Camelot.

A camp of Russian gypsies, dancing and playing music. After an opening dance, a quartet of beer-drinkers gargles the Volga Boatman song, then another group hauling on a rope sings it (we finally see that the other end of the rope is anchored by a very small dog). A trench-coated bomber sneaks into the palace, where we see Rice-Puddin', the mad monk, cheating at a jigsaw puzzle. He spies the activity in the gypsy camp and orders a henchman to fetch the gypsy girl. The villagers revolt as a result, sending The Mad Monk scrambling on his horse; they stuff a bomb into his pants just as he turns his horse into a helicopter, and it explodes.

Bosko is a soldier in the Foreign Legion out to capture the desert scourge, Ali Oop.

A series of typical Avery spot gags set around wild animals. A dainty deer drinks very loudly and rudely from a lake. A pack rat swaps an egg and an acorn, then back again ("monotonous, isn't it?"). A flock of ducks lands; a hunter fires; all fly away, except one with an American flag on its side. A termite fells a huge tree. A cowboy rides across the plains well, no; his horse is just slapping itself with the front hooves. A coyote calls to its mate: "Hey, Mabel, come on out!" A camel contradicts the narrator, saying he's really thirsty. A wild dog: because of the lumbermen.

Sniffles the mouse and his friend the Bookworm decide to take up egg collecting, setting their eyes upon a big barn owl egg. But the big barn owl isn't so hot on the idea.

A bee returns home late after a night out having too much honey. His wife leaves him, but quickly ends up in the clutches of an evil ladybug. The whole hive turns out to fight the ladybug and get her back.

Porky and Gabby are driving off to a camping vacation. But between a road rage incident and some trouble negotiating hills, it's off to a bad start. On arrival, they face mishaps with a fly, the tent, and a runaway outboard motor.

Porky balks at learning the Pledge of Allegiance until Uncle Sam appears to him in a dream and gives him a lesson in American history.

A barker guides us through a sideshow, a menagerie, and on to the big top, for a series of typical Avery gags. For example, the trapeze artists, the Flying Cadenzas, literally fly; the lion puts his head in the tamer's mouth; and the human cannonball flies around the world.

Nett Cutler (Elmer Fudd) romances Crimson O'Hairoil in this send-up of Gone With the Wind (1939).

Mammy blackbird puts her three little ones to bed, but one of them stays up reading "The Early Bird Catches the Worm." Mammy throws the book out the window and warns the little ones about the fox, which will surely get them if they try to be an early bird. The reader pays no heed, and gets up at 5 AM. Alas, the worm has seen the book, so is alerted and evades the bird. And sure enough, before long, the fox shows up and soon has the bird in his grasp. The worm takes pity, though, and lures a bee into stinging the fox so he'll release the bird. The bird heads home to safety, but unlike his brothers, he's not interested when mammy asks if he wants worms for breakfast (and the worm pops up to say, "neither does I, mammy.")

Literary characters come to life late at night in a bookshop, serenading Sniffles the mouse with swing music until the Frankenstein monster intrudes.

Porky Pig is tapped for a giant-killing expedition. When the expedition reaches the giant's castle (which is normal sized, requiring the giant to stoop), everyone but Porky runs at the first sign of trouble, leaving Porky alone to awaken the giant's sleeping baby. Porky then must soothe the baby back to sleep and attempt his escape.

This travelogue across America is filled with sight gags such as the 'Old Reliable' geyser spitting into a spittoon, cliff-dwelling Indians who walk horizontally up and down the faces of cliffs to get to their homes, and a Texas cow puncher who really punches cows. Also featured is Mr. Butter Fingers, a 'human fly' who climbs the outside of the Empire State Building.

An arctic saloon. The tiny dog, Dan McFoo, is playing a pinball-like marble game in the back. His girlfriend, Sue, sounding like Katharine Hepburn, stands by. A stranger comes in with eyes for Sue; he begins a boxing match with Dan. After Dan gets knocked down, he accuses the stranger of having something in the glove; the ref finds four horseshoes and a horse. After the fight goes on a while with no conclusion, the narrator tosses a couple of guns, the lights go out, and Dan is shot or is he?

General Daffy Duck's fort is plagued by Indian raids. After struggling to awaken Porky Pig for his turn at guard duty, Daffy is terrified by an onslaught of Indians. The day seems lost, until Daffy inadvertently swallows a box of bullets...

Sniffles the mouse, in his first appearance in a Warner Bros. cartoon, goes to a drugstore and gets drunk on a cold remedy, then befriends an electric razor and gets it drunk as well.

In this spoof of the newsreel series, we meet a man who drinks large amounts of milk, a snake charmer, a man building a ship in a bottle, the world's loudest hog caller, a man who hasn't left his room for years, a human basketball, an optical illusion, a new giant telescope showing life on Mars and none on the moon, a wishing well in Egypt, the world's fastest woodcutter, the country's most accurate knife thrower, the sounds made by ants, and a man who saws people in half. Egghead keeps saying he doesn't believe it.

At the hobo hotel, it's morning. One hobo awakens, and carefully avoids the shower, except for a drop on each eye. He stops at the medicine cabinet for some "soda fizz" which jets about, causing havoc. A train goes by, and the swinging rhythm inspires a makeshift clarinet solo. The cook grabs some fish from the fridge, which opens right onto the river. Another train whistle prompts an announcer; the hobos board down a slide. The clarinet player starts up again, and everyone dances. The engineer notices, stops the train, and pulls the "hobo eliminator" lever, which ejects them. Fortunately, they land right in front of a sign looking for amateur musicians at a radio station. They play and sing, to everyone's enjoyment. The station owner offers them luxury but a passing train whistle changes their minds.

A supernatural thriller with a witchy theme, starring Cassandra Magrath

The mice are on the loose after hours in a doctor's office, playing with the various pieces of medical apparatus. Susie Mouse is caged for research until her lover Johnnie frees her. A mouse orchestra plays a swinging wedding song. But throughout, a cat is stalking...

The Lone Stranger is sleeping when his faithful, if overly caricatured, Indian scout sees stagecoach driver Porky being robbed by a bad guy. The scout summons the Lone Stranger, who rides to the rescue. The bad guy goes after him (and, briefly, the narrator). But just in the nick of time, the Lone Stranger recovers and conquers the bad guy. Meanwhile, Silver and the villain's horse have been having their own close encounter, and Silver returns with several little colts.

Hayseed Egghead arrives in the big city of Bagdad and quickly wins a magic lamp in a carnival coin-operated crane game. The shady character who was playing the game before him covets the lamp, and tries to steal it. Egghead sees a poster: The sultan is having a contest for his daughter's hand in marriage. With his lamp, Egghead thinks he's a sure bet; he conjures up a magic carpet, and he's off. After a couple bad vaudeville acts, it's Egghead's turn, but in the meantime, the bad guy swapped the lamp for a coffeepot. Egghead is thrown out, then sees the bad guy using the lamp; Egghead breaks in, steals the lamp and the girl, and flies off. But she uses the lamp herself to conjure up a real hunk to replace the nerdy Egghead.

A partial updating of the Cinderella story. When the fairy godmother is late, Cinderella calls the police, who put out an APB and find her in a bar. Her first attempt at turning the pumpkin (canned) and mice into a coach produces Santa. Cinderella gets to the ball (in a stagecoach) and meets Prince Charming Egghead. They dance, and spend some quality time on the balcony. Midnight, dropped slipper, and all that; Egghead finds her house with the help of some neon signs, but all that's there is a note that she got tired of waiting and went to a Warner Bros. show. She pops up from the audience, and they head off to the tenth row together.

We open on a big game hunter telling a little boy (a caricture of child star Freddie Bartholomew) stories about hunting in the jungles of Africa. He tells him a story about a day he was hunting there. The game hunter gets help from African natives to catch some animals, with some odd results. Sight gags include a African native with a record player hidden in his huge lower lip, an elephant who can't remember something he was supposed to do, and the game hunter riding a elephant and having to "shift gears" like an automobile to get up a steep hill.

A singing worm is pursued by a crow, moving in an amazing variety of ways while escaping. It then hides in an apple, a toothpaste tube, a victrola, a toaster, and an alcohol bottle. This gets him soused enough to challenge the crow directly. He finally hides in another apple.

When jockey Porky's thoroughbred gets drunk on linament, a goofy milk-wagon horse takes over for the big race.

Bugs reads "Hiawatha" and winds up being hunted by him.

Characters on book covers come to life, including Porky and Daffy. The "Wolf of Wall Street" chases Daffy through "The Hurricane," "The Storm" and across "The Bridge of San Luis Rey" before expiring in "For Whom the Bell Tolls."

A cat (not Sylvester) tries to capture a little canary bird (not Tweety), and not get caught by protective Granny.

Hearing that silver foxes are all the rage in high society, a fox paints himself silver and gets himself trapped, finding out too late that it's only his fur anyone is interested in.

Singing cowboy Daffy retires to the Painted Desert (still wet). He falls for an Indian maiden with a Brooklyn accent, but her very large boyfriend catches them. Daffy dresses in drag, which fools him for a while until Daffy's wig falls off. The boyfriend chases Daffy into the Petrified Forest (where Daffy freezes and breaks tomahawks). The Indian sends smoke signals from a phone booth and his tribe attacks Daffy, trapping him under his house trailer. They steal his tires, but return them because they don't fit.
