It's been a year since Sherlock Holmes and John Watson have become roommates. All seems to be going well with the master detective and his sidekick John Watson. Until Moriarty gives an ominous warning at what's to come. Taking them on an all too personal case that will endanger the one's they love, and jeopardize their very friendship. Will they be able to stop her?

After six months of no new cases Sherlock Holmes and John Watson have to work together again to find a serial killer attacking young lovers. In the meantime Mycroft Holmes must help unfold secrets of his brothers life.

In London, a secret society led by lawyer Thaddeus Merrydew collects the assets of any of its deceased members and divides them among the remaining members. Society members start dropping like flies. Sherlock Holmes is approached by member James Murphy's widow, who is miffed at being left penniless by her husband.
